Day 60: Formality

You think as you grow older, how formal you are gets reversely proportioned. At least with your peers. Basically, ‘no fucks given’ after a certain age and experience in life, because how long can you care about what other people think right?

Wrong.

People are still stuck with being formal with people around them, still scared of being themselves in front of their friends. Why? I’m partly confused as to what the right answer to this might be because I consider myself evolved with this situation or at least trying to. But who are these people who stay formal all their lives even with their friends?

What purpose will that serve and if you can’t be yourself with your friends who are you really? Who can you be you in front of? I hope you find your tribe soon.
